 Professor & chair Elizabeth Toth has been elected vice-president of the Association for Education in Journalism & Mass Communication (AEJMC).

As VP of AEJMC, Toth will serve on the Board of Directors and the Association's Finance Committee. As President-Elect in 2013-2014, Toth will chair AEJMC's Finance Committee before succeeding to the presidency in 2014-2015.

Toth's installation as president will take place at the AEJMC annual meeting in Montreal, Canada, August 6-9, 2014.Toth has also been selected as the 2012 recipient of the Dr. Bruce Berger Educator Mentor Award from the Plank Center. She will receive the award at the Center's annual November Milestones in Mentoring meeting in Chicago.
