Brooke Fowler is a doctoral student with a focus on public relations and communication technology. She also has a strong interest in crisis management and relationship building, particularly across cultures. Her research utilizes primarily qualitative research methods. Brooke received her B.S. in Business Communication from Stevenson University in 2010 and her M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication from Duquesne University in 2012. Prior to beginning a doctoral program with UMD, Brooke taught public speaking, intercultural communication, interpersonal communication, and speech at Stevenson University and Carroll Community College. Brooke is currently teaching two sections of COMM 107: Oral Communication: Principles and Practice.
