Kimberley Hannah-Prater received her M.A. in Television-Radio-Film from Syracuse University in 2008 and her B.A. in Mass Media from Henderson State University in 2007. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Communication with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Political Culture. Kim’s research interests include the depictions of presidential elections in cable news and in late-night television shows and media portrayals of America following national tragedies. Her professional experience includes working for a major broadcast TV network and for cable networks in Los Angeles. She currently teaches COMM324: Communication and Gender and COMM107: Oral Communication: Principles and Practices.
