Meridith Styer received her B.A. in Communication Studies with an emphasis is Speech Communication and her M.A. in Rhetoric and Religion. She also worked as a Forensics Speech coach throughout her Masters degree. Meridith is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Maryland with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Political culture. Meridith’s research focuses on the intersection of feminism and religion in the formation of women’s ethos and 19th century women’s social movements. Meridith is also interested in the non-mainline communication of women through objects including clothing.
