Dr. Ganga Dhanesh Delivers Keynote Address

Dr. Ganga Dhanesh delivers keynote address at the 24th annual congress of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association.

Department of Communication Associate Professor, Dr. Ganga Dhanesh, delivered a keynote address at the 24th annual congress of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPERA) that just concluded in Prague. EUPRERA, with nearly 500 members across 40 countries, organizes a highly regarded Annual Congress each year in collaboration with a selected university or college in Europe in order to explore new methods and disseminate the most up-to-date research. 

In her keynote, titled Public Relations and Responsibility: Pricklier Relations in Polarized Times, she raised questions about the intersections of public relations and corporate responsibilities, highlighting increasing complexities in the role of public relations in articulating businesses’ voice in society in polarized times.

Additionally, Dr. Dhanesh was invited to join Charles University (Prague) at the ribbon cutting of the new research and education Center for Strategic Communication. The Center, established by Associate Professor Denisa Hejlová from the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, Charles University, aims to develop research and lifelong learning in the field of strategic communication.
