Yang Panel

"Principles of a Yangian Rhetorical Theory"

Members attended, presented, and responded during a special memorial panel honoring Dr. Misti Yang, a 2021 graduate of our Ph.D. program, who passed away in March 2023. The panel was  chaired by Dr. Damien Pfister. The panel description details, "Dr. Yang investigated the intersections of rhetoric, science, technology, and digitality, focused primarily on the cultural and communicative consequences of artificial intelligence. This panel brings together mentors, colleagues, friends, and kindred spirits to identify 'Principles of a Yangian Rhetorical Theory' that can further stimulate research in this area."

Current students and faculty invited department alumni, perspective students, and friends of the department to learn more about the department and celebrate the 2023 NCA award winners at our annual NCA party!

Special congratulations to department members who won awards!
