COMMTerps Win Awards for Research, Teaching

Professors Anderson and Woods named MVPs; Ledford wins 3MT Competition.

Congratulations to Department of Communication faculty members Dr. Lindsey Anderson and Dr. Carly Woods who were selected as "Most Valuable Professors" by the University of Maryland's Women's Lacrosse team. They were honored at a halftime ceremony on April 7th.

Congratulations to doctoral candidate Victoria Ledford for winning the 2022 Campus-Level 3MT Competition, sponsored by the University of Maryland Graduate School. The 3MT competition challenges students to communicate the significance of their research projects to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes! Ledford was just one of six winners from over 20 finalists selected in a campus-wide competition that began in March.
