Anderson to Join Department in 2014
The Department of Communication is pleased to announce that Ms. Lindsey Anderson will join the department in the Fall of 2014 as an assistant professor.
Lindsey Anderson is a doctoral candidate in the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University where she is an associate course director for the Fundamentals of Presentational Speaking course. Her research interests include communication assessments and communication education. During her time at Purdue, she completed a university-funded course assessment of the science communication course that examined learning outcomes related to oral and written communication as well as information literacy. This research was presented at NCA and is scheduled to be published by Communication Teacher. In addition, Lindsey is interested in the ways internal and external constituencies make sense of organizational processes related to employee age (e.g., career socialization, training, and mentoring). Lindsey’s research has appeared or is in-press in multiple outlets including Public Relations Review, Management Communication Quarterly, Communication Research Reports, and the Journal of Professional Communication.
