Parry-Giles Interviewed on Daily Kos, WPR

Professor Shawn J. Parry-Giles was recently interviewed for an in-depth discussion about her recent book Hillary Clinton in the News by the popular website The Daily Kos. The website is among the more popular news/political sites, attracting almost 40 million page views and 18 million visitors every month.

Daily Kos interviewer Dan Falcone concluded that Parry-Giles' book is "a provocative interdisciplinary read for sure...that contains references to Foucault, Heidegger, Baudrillard, hooks, and even more current prominent academics." The interview discussed the book, its conclusions, and the possibilities of a Clinton candidacy in 2016. Fundamentally, the interview also highlighted the nature of news coverage of Hillary Clinton and Parry-Giles' findings about that coverage over the span of Clinton's public life--from her time as First Lady through the 2008 presidential campaign.

Parry-Giles was also interviewed for The Joy Cardin Show on Wisconsin Public Radio about her book in July. Listen to that discussion here.
